Silent Retreat in Santa Fe: September 27-29, 2019

What it is:

  1. Dive into your well of self-knowledge.
  2. Reframe experiences (especially the difficult ones) into useful tools.
  3. Acquire new habits that are grounded in kindness and freedom.
  4. Uncover the pressures that drive you, some without your knowledge or permission.
  5. Experience zero expectations from me. You can literally do nothing the entire weekend if you want.

What it is not:

There’s a lot of discussion about retreats these days, and for many, it’s a challenge to see what sacrifices you can make, what gems can you discover inside the emotional and physical pain of sitting still for hours at a time. Having done these type of retreats, I appreciate their potential rewards. And yet, I firmly believe there is a place for an alternative:

Instead of trying to test how much you can suffer, this retreat will let you find out how much kindness and comfort you can create for yourself.

As we go into the weekend, we’ll be doing various things as well as doing nothing at all. Competition is not on the menu; you will not be tested. All activities are opt-in and are designed to be restful and restorative. Plus, there are many reasons why New Mexico is officially known as the Land of Enchantment. You’ll have many enchanting experiences.

We’re here now for a journey into the Self.

So I invite you to consider how much radical self-acceptance can you build this weekend. To play with the concept of accepting even that which we find unacceptable. Mistakes. Quirks. Odd tastes and desires.

Availability:

Two places are booked; four are available.

A side note: I am committed to living a “no pressure” life and that includes how I interact with others. There is no early bird cheapo pricing, no emails pushing to reserve now, no tricky or impossible to deliver promises. Instead, this is a quiet offer for those who are looking to give themselves a deeper and quiet experience of themselves. I am creating the time and space to do this as I know first hand the power of being in silence and the luxury of having someone else take care of life’s little details for me, so I can attend and attune to my Self.
