This is an internet contest sponsored by Sam-E and Nature Made. This is a natural supplement company, and they are venturing into the social web. This contest is to locate a blogger who will write 5 posts a week on the Good Mood Blog.
I don’t think of myself as a contestant-type person. I don’t have the desire to drum up a lot of “pick me!!!” energy, though in this case I believe I am very well suited to the job. My 750 video episodes at Beach Walks with Rox are my proven track record of thinking positive and churning out content. Our first 402 episodes did not skip a single day! My practice there now is dramatically slower.

Not for lack of interest, but for lack of time. The day job has become incredibly busy as people want to jump into our brains and learn many of the things we’ve learned and created in the past 10 years of being early adopters on the web. Part of the appeal for this Good Mood Gig is the compensation. It will allow me to turn down some other work and focus back on the ideas of change, cooperation, respect, happiness, and freedom that run through so much of BeachWalks.tv.
The main lure though is the opportunity to speak to a larger audience about life and how to manage it. I am a long time student of consciousness; I pay attention to the words I use so as to avoid stress from the very seeds of each thought. As a former health coach for Johnson & Johnson, I have both professional experience in health management as well as a personal interest. I was the first mind-body fitness presenter at the IDEA Conventions, way back in the early 80’s! The interplay of thoughts, feelings, actions, and nutrition are a constantly changing field of science, but many of the foundations of mood management come from long-standing practices.
I hope you will help me make the first cut: it is based solely on raw votes on the internet. We’ve made it easy to remember: just visit www.vote4rox.com or www.VoteForRox.com and they will both take you to my page for voting. You can vote once a day, so to help you remember, we’ve created an email list. If you join, I will send you a little bit of daily inspiration and include a link to the voting page. This part end on October 30th.
Many thanks for your kokua (help) and support.
