Understanding How to Receive Grace Remotely

I received the following question via email recently, and I realized in writing my response that it would make for a useful blog entry! So I am launching a new Q&A section. You are welcome to send in your questions and I will do my best to share answers here.

I have recently discovered the Divine Openings website, because a friend of mine insisted I read the book One thing I would like to ask you regarding receiving Divine Openings. How can one receive it through a picture in a book or over the phone? I can understand that it’s done in person, but the other methods… I know I am using my mind and I think of it as a concept. But if you have any helpful advice that might explain this to me, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much, Tomas.

Thank you for being in touch Tomas! Your question makes sense – as you stated – from the mind’s point of view. The mind is being constantly challenged to keep up with all of the information (aka “the facts of reality”) that is available to us at any time. Imagine then the difficulty for the mind to have information that has not been revealed or studied or proven – yet! Barely a century ago most humans did not believe it would be possible to fly in an airplane; now many do that all the time, and, we do it without knowing “how” it actually happens! So the first step is to being able to seek affirmation of your knowledge from a source other than your mind.

The grace itself (which is the essence of a Divine Opening) moves without being restricted by time or place. As such, it can be “programmed” or intended to be delivered to those who have consciously requested it. It is experienced by your true nature more than it is learned by your proof-seeking mind. Over time your mind will learn to recognize and embrace it, dissolving the dichotomy so many experience between what we feel and what we think we know.

Grace knows no limits or boundaries, however we do have free will. In my own experience at the Five Day Silent Intensive, the moment we officially dropped into the silence, I had the distinct experience of a large translucent wall sliding open immediately adjacent to my body! Therein was the entire universe, right at my disposal, and my conversation with God gushed forth like two old friends meeting again after years apart! I was shocked to learn how close it had been all this time, although not accessible.

Our minds are lucky these days as the physicists studying quantum physics in particular have proven such things as the Butterfly Effect and the Observer Effect. You can Google those terms for more scientific explanation. They also provide a scientific explanation for how a Divine Opening can be given remotely.

Most convincing though in my opinion, is that the receiver of the Divine Opening experiences it! You can read the testimonials on my web site and also on Lola’s Divine Openings site to review the extraordinary range of results people receive. The beauty also is how personalized it is for each person – why should it be any other way? This does confuse the mind though as we have been conditioned by so many self-help books that claim to promise specific outcomes if you will only follow their “Five Steps to Financial Freedom” for example.

Everything in life is subjective, personal, custom-built just for each of us. As you allow more grace into your life and develop your own personal and two-way friendship with the Presence, you will be able to customize the miracle that is your life in amazing ways!
